The South Australian Council of Social Service (SACOSS) is the independent peak body for the non-government health and community services sector in South Australia. Our small, passionate team is committed to creating meaningful change through advocacy, collaboration, and leadership. We also build capacity in the community sector and share important information between government and community services.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for a part-time Events & Administration Assistant to join our team. In this hands-on and varied role, you'll support the planning and delivery of SACOSS events, manage membership processes, and assist with general administration and communications.

You'll work closely with our Event Coordinator and Corporate Services team to ensure events run smoothly, members are well supported, and our operations stay efficient and responsive. This role is perfect for someone organised, reliable and keen to gain experience in event coordination and the not-for-profit sector.

The position is offered initially as a contract for 6 months with the opportunity to renew the contract subject to funding.

This is a 0.6 FTE position (22 hours per week) with opportunity for additional hours, based at our offices in Adelaide, with some flexibility and occasional out-of-hours work required.
