At Save the Children's Supported Accommodation service in Ceduna, we provide safe accommodation, and work to strengthen parenting knowledge and skills, family health and wellbeing. Families under stress for a variety of reasons benefit from safe and nurturing support. We need you to be part of our passionate local team and help families to address their challenges and work towards their goals.
We stand up for children's rights. We want all children to be educated, healthy and live a life free from violence. We run programs in Australia and overseas and, if there's a disaster - like an earthquake, drought or conflict - we are there on the ground.
In this part-time fixed term (24.5 hours per week, through to end of September*) position, based in our Supported Accommodation service, you'll support positive outcomes for families by assisting with the delivery, implementation, and review of the program's operations with particular attention to support for families in the after-hours period. You'll be part of our Ceduna team and report to our Team Leader.

You'll work on a rotating roster, with shifts generally between 3.30pm and 10.30pm, and alternating day and afternoon shifts on Sundays.
*Extension of contract likely depending on performance and funding.
You're passionate, flexible, and friendly with a demonstrated ability to think on your feet to find solutions. Your relationship and communication skills mean you can work with people from a variety of backgrounds. You're committed to ensuring service delivery to children and their families is of high quality, and you're active, creative and flexible in your approach to working with children and families.
