The Vanuatu Community-based Climate Resilience Project (VCCRP) is the largest community-based adaptation project ever delivered in the Pacific. The MEAL and Program Quality Manager aims to measure and optimize the impact of the program, to improve lives and create lasting change for children and communities.
In this full-time contract position based in Port Vila Vanuatu, you will use your technical MEAL expertise, project management experience, and relationship skills to lead the MEAL and program quality work of VCCRP, helping to improve the lives of children and individuals in Vanuatu. Working collaboratively with the Program Management Unit within the Department of Climate Change (DOCC) you will guide program staff in implementing MEAL systems across development and humanitarian programs in line with Save the Children's and donor policies and practices.
The MEAL and Program Quality Manager is responsible for leading the development and implementation of the MEAL framework and strengthening program quality of the VCCRP. The MEAL and Program Quality Manager will support the program team to generate high quality evidence of intervention effectiveness to inform learning and adaptation by implementing systems and process to ensure high quality MEAL and equipping the program team with skills and tools to undertake robust data collection. The role will assist the team to improve program quality using quantitative and qualitative analysis to inform program learning.
You have strong technical expertise in MEAL, excellent project management skills, and a solid understanding of data analysis and reporting.
