Drive our program performance and excellence to improve outcomes for the children of Papua New Guinea (PNG). We are seeking an experienced Team Leader to guide our team in delivering the Child Nutrition and Social Protection (CNSP) project across East Briton and Chimbu provinces. CNSP's development objective is to improve utilisation of priority nutrition interventions and purchasing power of first thousand-day households in selected districts.
You will provide overall leadership and strategic direction for CNSP implementation, ensuring alignment with PNG national priorities and Save the Children objectives. You will ensure effective coordination with government stakeholders (e.g., Department for Community Development and Religion and National Department of Health), donors and other implementing partners to achieve CNSP objectives and deliver high-quality results for children and families.

In this full-time, max term position (initial 1 year contract length with strong potential for contract extension and / or on-going arrangement beyond this) based in Port Moresby and reporting to the Country Director, you will work to ensure overall CNSP management and quality delivery of all Component deliverable, ensuring adherence to donor requirements, CNSP timelines, and budget execution.
You are a sound leader with at least 10 years of experience in senior leadership roles, preferably in an I/NGO environment, with at least five (5) years managing large-scale development projects. This includes experience in Save the Children's priority thematic sectors of social protection and nutrition, preferably in the Pacific, and a successful track record with cash distribution projects. You are flexible, resilient, and adept at managing change and thrive on working in challenging contexts. You have highly developed relationship and interpersonal skills and value collaboration and partnership.
