We are currently looking for a Settlement Case Manager to join our Settlement team to deliver our program in partnership with Commonwealth Government Departments that helps empower community members to find solutions that address their settlement needs.
The aim of the program will improve social participation, economic wellbeing, independence, personal wellbeing and community connectedness.
The Settlement Practitioner role maintains highly developed skills in assessment, engagement, and case management. Service delivery will be high quality, responsive, flexible and tailored to the unique needs of individuals, families and communities, empowering them towards education, employment and English language acquisition.
Time management, flexibility and a strong ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment are critical skills in this role. SECL operates in a changing environment that will require timely responses to emerging social and economic trends impacting on our client community. An ability to manage oneself in times of change and uncertainty is essential.
The successful candidate will be required to undertake Safety Screening checks prior to commencement of employment including a national police record check and valid Working with Children Check. Must all have a valid driver's license
