SCALES is a not-for-profit community legal centre based in Rockingham providing a range of free legal services to the community to people who would otherwise not be able access them.
We are looking for an experienced Client Services Officer to manage reception and be the first contact for clients, people seeking assistance and visitors. As the first contact, you will be the first impression to visitors to the office. Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in your work will be highly regarded.
It is important that visitors to SCALES are dealt with sensitively, kindly and appropriately, particularly people of culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, people with disabilities and people who are often stressed and distressed.
You will work within a team of like-minded individuals providing an holistic, trauma informed and wraparound service through legal advice, advocacy, representation.
You will also provide administrative support to ensure effective and efficient operations of the service including dealing with electronic communications and entering data in the client management system.
While we would prefer someone who is experienced in being first contact, training will be provided in all aspects of the position as needed.
Salary is SCHADS Level 3.1: $74,000 ($37 per hour) with a 3 month probation period.
We offer flexible working conditions and fringe benefits, the role is located within our legal practice and is based in Rockingham and is not a position that is able to be done remotely, you will need to be in the office each day.
The advertised position is full time 37.5 hours per week (Requests for part time may be considered).
