Scouts NSW are currently recruiting for a Property Project Manager – Capital Works who has specific experience in the delivery of extensive capital works programs and projects across a multi-site Asset portfolio.
Having embarked on a significant, transformative 10year Property strategy across the asset portfolio of over 600 Scouts NSW locations, this role will be directly reporting to the Head of Property, with a significant capital works investment program to be undertaken.
Applicants will need to demonstrate experience and successful leadership in delivering multi-site Project building and construction works; planned and unplanned maintenance and repairs; upgrading and reinstatement of properties; and preparing assets for optimal commercial and sustainability outcomes.
This role is to play both a strategic and functional role, with its primary focus on delivering the 10yr Scouts NSW Property strategy, with particular focus on the three major state Activity Centres being Cataract Scout Park (Appin), Baden-Powell Scout Centre (Pennant Hills) and the Alpine Activity Centre (Jindabyne).
The role will further work closely across the entire Scouts NSW asset portfolio, as directed, assisting in improving the capital works; Grants funded related projects, and expected maintenance programs to drive enhanced sustainability initiatives, and improve the commercial viability of operational services.
The Property Project Manager – Capital Works will work with all stakeholders - internal and external, in a collaborative, inclusive manner to effect the desired outcomes as proposed in the Property Strategy to deliver expertise across architectural, construction, asset management and sustainability initiatives.
The role reports to the Head of Property and is for a minimum period of two (2) years, with a strong possibility of role extension.
The successful applicant must complete a Working with Children (WWC) and National Police background checks, and to hold and maintain a current NSW driving licence.
