This is my own business and you will only be working for me, a woman with a disability. I do not recruit or hire for other clients and this not an aged care position.
I am a writer, traveller and student of life.
You will be paid $33 per hour + super to assist me with my disability needs. These include showering, toileting, dressing, manual transfers and light household duties.
For approx. 20 hours per week, you will work both AM and PM shifts. This involves 3.5 to 4 days each week, including every second weekend. The roster is the same for you every fortnight. My other employee works the other days/shifts.
Your AM shifts begin at 5:45/6:00 and are approx 4 hours. Your PM shifts are on call (for the start time) and are approx 2 hours in the evening (not overnight).
No experience is required. Training is provided by me (and my other employee) at the rate of $25 per hour + Super.
You must be responsible, punctual, moral and trustworthy. You can commit to a minimum contract of 10 months. The opportunity to extend is available. English does not have to be your first language.
You will work in my private home - an intellectually stimulating and tranquil atmosphere.
Your job is secured by a contract.
You will be working one on one with me (after training).
Your minimum take home pay will not vary.
