An exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping the success of a new NFP dedicated to making a meaningful difference in the lives of Australians. You will work closely with our CEO and Board, driving communications strategy and delivery, directly contributing to our mission of helping 30,000 Australians access essential financial counselling services. This pivotal role will engage our key stakeholders—contributors and grantees—while effectively sharing the stories of our impact on real lives
We can offer flexibility in hours (22.5-30 hours/week) and a hybrid working environment (CBD office and WFH).
The Financial Counselling Industry Fund is a newly established charity dedicated to connecting more Australians experiencing financial difficulties with essential financial counselling services. This initiative is the result of a groundbreaking $36 million collaboration over three years between the financial counselling sector, Government and industry partners.
Communication Strategy Development:
Create and execute a robust communication strategy aligned with our mission and values, developing messaging that resonates with diverse stakeholders.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Manage communications with contributors, including financial counsellors, peak bodies and industry leaders, keeping them informed and engaged. Develop strategies to showcase the impact of industry funding on individuals' lives.
Grantee Communication:
Clearly communicate grant offerings, selection criteria, and application processes to potential grantees. Develop resources to support them in their application process.
Content Development:
Create website content that effectively communicates our mission and impact. Prepare speeches and presentations for the CEO and Board to engage with sector stakeholders.
Hands-On Implementation:
Actively participate in all aspects of communications, from strategic planning to daily execution, demonstrating flexibility and can do attitude vital in a startup environment.
Impact Storytelling:
Gather and share compelling stories and data insights that illustrate the real-world impact of our funding, using various channels to highlight the successes of supported financial counselling services.
