<h3>About Us</h3>
<p>The Financial Counselling Industry Fund is a newly established&nbsp;charity&nbsp;dedicated&nbsp;to connecting&nbsp;more&nbsp;Australians facing financial difficulties with essential financial counselling services. This initiative is the result of a groundbreaking $36&nbsp;million collaboration over three years involving the financial counselling sector, government, and industry partners. We are committed to making a meaningful impact.</p>
<h3>Role Overview</h3>
<p>We are seeking a proactive and solutions-oriented Operations/Admin Manager to support all areas of our organisation. This multifaceted role is crucial in ensuring smooth operations and effective administration as we launch our vital services. You will be instrumental in driving the organisation forward, working closely with the CEO, the Communications and Grants Managers, Board, and various stakeholders.</p>
<h3>Key Responsibilities</h3>
<ul>
<li>Administrative Management: Oversee daily office operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in all administrative tasks.</li>
<li>Grants Function Support: Assist with the assessment, management and reporting of grants, ensuring timely and effective communication and processes.</li>
<li>Communications Support: Support in the development of internal and external communications.</li>
<li>Board Secretary: Provide secretariat support to the Board, and support Board activities and travel arrangements.</li>
<li>Executive Assistance: Provide support to the CEO with various administrative functions as needed.</li>
<li>Event Management: Assist in planning and executing events that promote our services and mission.</li>
<li>Payroll &amp; Accounting Liaison: Coordinate with our external bookkeeper provider and manage outsourced functions</li>
</ul>
<h3>What We&rsquo;re Looking For</h3>
<ul>
<li>Experience: Proven experience in operations and administration, ideally in a small business or not-for-profit environment.</li>
<li>Skills: Strong organisational skills with an ability to streamline processes and implement smart solutions. Excellent level of computer literacy, specifically proficient in Microsoft Office products &nbsp;</li>
<li>Mindset: Proactive and solutions-oriented; keen to get stuck in and enjoy working a start-up environment.</li>
<li>Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.</li>
