About the role
The People and Culture Business Partner will play a crucial role in supporting our organisational success. Actively engaged in the day-to-day delivery of HR services, this role will handle core HR functions essential to fostering an environment where our employees can thrive. Additionally, working closely with the People and Culture Lead, this role will implement effective HR strategies to ensure that our culture and operations are aligned, while also addressing the challenges that arise from rapid growth and expansion.

Role Responsibilities
- Provide advice to employees and people leaders regarding employment matters, including but not limited to, employee issues, employee entitlements, workforce planning, culture, performance management, etc.
- Responsibility and oversight of all operational functions and processes of recruitment, retention and departures including the human resource modules within Employment Hero.
- Leading end-to-end case management including performance management, grievance handling, complex conduct and performance issues, mediation and conflict resolution.
- Coordinate HR initiatives such as performance reviews, engagement surveys and action plans, succession planning, remuneration reviews and reward and recognition.
- Research and keep abreast of employment legislation and update HR policies and procedures, ensuring legislative compliance and best practice
- Advise and coach business leaders, influencing decisions and outcomes and providing human resource generalist advice
- Engage constructively with the Senior Leadership Team, managers and employees to ensure the people and culture strategy is successfully delivered.
- Identify opportunities to continuously improve internal human resource policies, processes and systems, and partner with relevant stakeholders to develop solutions
- Plan and deliver operational people related projects as required.
Essential criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or relevant experience
- 5 or more years of experience in HR business partnering
- Demonstrated experience in employment relations.
- Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring complex issues are communicated effectively.
- A passion for and successful track record working with and coaching people.
- Strong business/commercial acumen.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships across the organisation and with external stakeholders.
- A valid NSW drivers license and a willingness to travel to various sites across NSW as required.
