The role

We are searching for a Grade 1 Social Worker to join our team. You will be part of the social work team that works collaboratively within the broader interdisciplinary team to enhance the delivery of high quality, safe and effective social support services to our clients in their homes for end of life care and advocating according to their goals and needs.

To be successful in this role

You will need

• Bachelor Social Work
• Eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers
• Demonstrated knowledge of current social work practices including grief, loss and bereavement support
• Commitment to social justice principles, and specifically to the mission and aims of PCSE
• An understanding of the issues faced by individuals and families/carers living with a life-limiting illness
• Computer literacy
