At One Door Mental Health, we believe in empowering young people to take charge of their mental well-being. As a Community Engagement & Development Officer at headspace Campbelltown, you’ll be at the forefront of youth advocacy, community partnerships, and mental health awareness.
The headspace program’s mission is to deliver improvements in the mental health, social wellbeing and economic participation of young Australian’s aged 12 – 25. This includes providing funding to improve services for young people who may be experiencing mental health and/or drug and alcohol issues and the latest information about these important health issues for young people.
The Community Engagement and Development Officer will participate in our health and service promotion initiatives, facilitate youth and parent/carer participation, undertake community awareness campaigns, effectively engaging with other agencies/services and assist with education and training delivery. This role is full-time (5 days) guaranteed until 30 June 2025. From 1 July 2025, the role will continue at 4 days per week, with the potential to remain full-time depending on organisational conditions.
Please note that this is a temporary role to cover a period of parental leave. The position will end on 30 June 2026 or sooner, if the parental leave period concludes earlier.
