Share the Dignity is on the lookout for a talented, passionate, professional and motivated Partnerships (Commercial Projects) Coordinator.

  • Join our fast-paced and exciting Giving, Communications and Events Team that is expanding due to an increased demand in services.
  • Play an integral part in developing and maintaining key partnerships and strategic relationships to ensure these connections continue to be nurtured and supported.
  • Coordinate our Menstrual Equity Commercial Enterprise initiative to place period product vending machines (known as Dignity Vending Machines) in commercial and community locations.
  • Be part of a supportive, close-knit team on the north side of Brisbane, where no two days are the same.

As a young charity (9 years old), there are still so many ways to grow and improve what we do – and we are looking for someone who would relish the challenge of being a part of this phase and who is passionate about the work they do.

The Commercial Projects Coordinator is a new full-time, one year contract role, within our Giving Communications and Events team. Reporting to Share the Dignity’s Giving, Communications and Events Manager and working closely with the Founder and Managing Director, the Commercial Projects Coordinator role will build, develop, and manage relationships with key external stakeholders of the charity. This includes corporate partners and funding bodies, creating high level communications and engagement while increasing our funding of commercial Dignity Vending Machines/Dispensers and increasing the sponsorship of community placed machines. Our Dignity Vending Machines are already in 600 locations around Australia and this position will coordinate the further expansion of the commercial enterprise. From sourcing new corporate leads to organising the machine install and media with the relevant internal teams, this role will have a hands-on approach in order to ensure financial and advocacy goals are met.

DUTIES INCLUDE:

  • Grow our philanthropic database by identifying potential funders and reaching out and pitching for new machines.
  • Project coordination and implementation of new commercial Dignity Vending Machine program.
  • Identify and coordinate creation of assets and collateral for campaign.
  • Create communication journeys and onboarding processes.
  • Liaise with various internal stakeholders for project implementation
  • Regular stakeholder reporting

You are someone with exceptional interpersonal skills, can work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, have a solution focused approach and ability to create systems to ensure records are continually updated and opportunities are maximised.

TO BE A SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE, YOU WILL HAVE:

  • Degree or diploma in relevant discipline together with relevant experience, or demonstrated previous experience in a Corporate Relations, Grants or Fundraising role
  • Corporate/community partnerships fundraising experience and/or strong commercial partnership experience
  • Demonstrated ability to retain and grow revenue from partnership/account portfolios
  • Proven success with partnerships/accounts and meeting mutually agreed project objectives
  • Knowledge and experience identifying strategic grant opportunities and writing high quality proposals
  • Experience building and maintaining customer relationship databases
  • Experience in the not for profit sector highly desirable
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills and strong computer literacy
  • Knowledge of Funraisin and Salesforce an advantage
