A unique role like this does not come up very often – playing a pivotal part in our mission to end Period Poverty in Australia.
Do you thrive in fast paced environments, leading high performing teams and empowering your people to achieve their goals, whilst fostering a collaborative and supportive culture?
Are you a talented fundraiser with marketing, communications and event skills, used to managing in-house projects on tight budgets and maximising every opportunity to grow brand reach? We are seeking someone for a permanent full-time role who has business acumen and proven leadership skills.
This could be the role you have been waiting for!
Due to an interstate move, Share the Dignity is looking for our next Giving, Communications and Events Manager, to lead our fundraising strategy, oversee the implementation of key initiatives and empower the team to succeed.
Share the Dignity is passionate about our work helping women, girls and people who have a period who are in need and eliminating period poverty in Australia. As a young charity (8 years old), there are still so many ways to grow and improve what we do – and we are looking for people who would relish the challenge of being a part of this phase.
This role works closely with our Founder and Managing Director, who is the visionary of the charity, setting KPIs and goals for the team and devising marketing plans. The synergy of this relationship is an integral part of this role.
This role also works closely with our CFO, on key financial measurables, and with our other Managers on key projects, operational strategies and methodologies.
Our Giving, Communications and Events are a small but mighty team of seven who excel at what they do and we are looking for a Manager who can nurture and mentor our team members to continue to flourish and grow.
You will be agile with the ability to pivot where required. You will be excited about new opportunities and leads, and have the imagination and drive to identify potential opportunities and craft and develop these into genuine results for maximum value. This role will also include leading and managing Dress for Dignity, our online pre-loved fashion marketplace.
You are someone who is happy to either step back and provide advice and direction where needed, but also someone who doesn’t mind jumping on the tools from time to time and/or take the lead on team projects.
You will have great organisational and communication skills and the ability to drill down into the detail whilst also having a big-picture view.
