We are seeking experienced Personal Care Workers committed to the highest quality care for our Privately Funded Clients. 

As a Personal Care Worker with Silverchain Private Care, you will assist clients with:

• A range of needs such as supporting personal care like showering and grooming, as well as well-being, such as maintaining a healthy diet and social connection
• Your approach to care will be holistic and may include other duties such as light cleaning, laundry, shopping and general home help as required.
• There may also be opportunities to assist with client coordination support. 

Start dates

Immediate starts are available. Alternatively, you can let us know when you’re planning to start work and we can reserve your placement in advance. 

Shifts and rosters

We have a range of permanent part-time and casual opportunities to suit your availability.  

Silverchain Private Care provides care services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, so we can offer regular and flexible shifts throughout the day, overnight and on weekends.

We welcome enquiries for half days or during school hours.

For this role you will need:

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Aging, Home and Community) or equivalent
• Be willing to service clients across inner metropolitan Melbourne, including Bayside and Boroondara
• Community care experience (or relevant industry experience)
• Access to a registered vehicle, suitable for work purposes
• Current Australian driver’s license
• Physically able to fulfil the requirements of the role

Selection Criteria

• Essential: Do you hold a Current Basic First Aid Certificate.
  
• Essential: Do you hold a full (not on P or L plates) C Class drivers licence?
  
• Essential: Do you have a reliable, registered motor vehicle for work purposes?
  
• Essential: Do you hold a Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, HACC or Disability? If no, please list your relevant community-based experience.
