This position is a fixed term, part-time position (20 hours per fortnight) paid at the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010 Level 4 and subject to the National Employment Standards.
SIN is a peer-based organisation run by sex workers, for sex workers. SIN is funded by SA Health. We promote the health, rights, and wellbeing of SA sex workers and recognise sex work as legitimate, skilled labour.
Everyone who works or volunteers at SIN identifies as a past or present sex worker. SIN promotes an inclusive and diverse work environment that seeks to ensure staff feel valued and supported. SIN is governed by a board of peers, organisational objectives, values, visions, and a 5-year strategic plan. SIN provides education and information through targeted projects and services that empower sex workers.
SIN advocates for the eradication of stigma and discrimination against sex workers and promotes law reform, practices, and policies that optimise the health and welfare of sex workers. SIN is a representational and accountable voice for SA sex workers, we are driven by the needs, aspirations, and concerns of the SA sex worker community.

The SIN GD Peer Worker will be working directly with sex workers by providing appropriate peer education, support, advocacy, and referral services. Services are provided both onsite and on outreach, whilst maintaining the organisation’s core values including:
