The position of Registered Nurse is based at Canterbury Outpatient Opioid Treatment Program (OTP) in Sydney Local Health District Drug Health Services.
In this role, you will be responsible for the provision of patient centred; evidence informed nursing care that promotes identified health outcomes for clients who are experiencing opioid dependency and other drug use disorders, including alcohol use disorder. This role includes S8 medication administration, case management of clients and liaising with a variety of services internal and external to the service. The Registered Nurse will assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
