The Smith Family is a national children’s education charity that works with children and young people experiencing poverty to overcome their circumstances and reach their full potential by providing holistic, long-term support for their education.

About the role

We are seeking a Customer Support Specialist to play a crucial role in addressing customer enquiries, concerns and issues effectively, to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty. Reporting to the Customer Support and Engagement Team Leader and working alongside dedicated, energised, and passionate team members, you will:

  • Provide supporter care to current and prospective Learning for Life sponsors and donors
  • Initiate outbound calls to proactively build sponsor relationships and maximise sponsorship opportunities
  • Handle a range of telephone enquiries, including donations and sponsorships
  • Respond to supporter and general public enquiries received via chat or email
  • Provide general administration of team responsibilities

About you
