The Smith Family is an independent children's charity helping Australian children living in disadvantage to get the most out of their education, so they can create better futures for themselves. As we celebrate our Centenary, it’s an exciting time to be joining our family!

Embarking on our new five-year strategy, we are seeking an experienced Digital Marketing Coordinator to join The Smith Family’s Fundraising team. Reporting to the Digital Media and Advertising Manager and working alongside dedicated, energised, and passionate team members, you will support the implementation of paid digital marketing programs.

This is a hands-on role, where your proven experience and dedication to digital, will help you thrive. You’ll be a part of a high-performing team, working on marketing activities that create better futures for the children we support by helping to achieve our fundraising objectives.

About our role

You will be responsible for:

  • Supporting with the implementation of paid digital advertising campaigns across core channels of SEM, native, social, display and video.
  • Assisting with creative approvals, final artwork and link checks and creative rollout.
  • Day-to-day timeline coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Supporting with regular reporting and ongoing optimization.
  • Assisting with financial reconciliation and invoice processing.
  • Supporting paid social listening and competitor research to help generate new content ideas.

About you

As well as a passion for digital, data-driven marketing, you will bring the following:

  • Demonstrated understanding of the digital advertising landscape.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, and well-developed project management skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing 3rd party suppliers.
  • Ability to work well both independently and within a small, dynamic team environment.
  • A passion for staying up to date with digital trends.
