The Smith Family is a national children’s education charity helping disadvantaged young Australians to get the most out of their education, so they can create better futures for themselves. We are now seeking Dynamics CRM Developer to join one of our agile squads, in this highly energized environment.

Working with a dedicated and passionate team, this newly established role will develop features and functionality as a part of an agile scrum team to deliver outcomes for customers. The work you do will have a huge impact in our ability to make a difference to lives of disadvantaged children. A day in the life of a CRM Developer might look like this, but every day can be different. Primarily, you will be responsible for:

  • Actively participating in scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews and retrospectives
  • Estimating effort for user stories
  • Making decisions to select the most efficient and feasible technical solution to implement a feature within budget and time constraints while considering solution performance
  • Reviewing and producing technical specifications and documentation
  • Implementing new functionality using out-of-the-box facilities and add extensions using scripting and non-scripting languages; build custom solutions where out-of-the-box is not sufficient
  • Documenting new software designs and changes to existing software

It takes a special kind of person to be our CRM Developer. Our successful candidate will bring the following:

  • Experience in application development using ASP.NET, C# and JavaScript
  • MS Dynamics CRM on premise and MS Dynamics 365 development experience
  • Experienced in Database development using SQL Server (2012 or later)
  • Experience with IIS
  • Experience in secure programming practices
  • CI/CD and DevOps understanding
  • Applications problem solving & trouble-shooting
