The Smith Family is a national children’s education charity that works with children and young people experiencing poverty to overcome their circumstances and reach their full potential by providing holistic, long-term support for their education.

About the role

We are seeking a Family Partnerships Coordinator to coordinate the delivery of the Learning for Life program. Reporting to the Team Leader, Learning for Life and working alongside dedicated, energised, and passionate team members, you will:

  • Use a family-centred and data informed approach, building partnerships with Learning for Life families
  • Connect with partner schools in the community to support referral to the Learning for Life Program (where applicable) and strong ongoing program participation for Learning for Life families
  • Complete administrative tasks and data entry to help plan your day and focus your efforts
  • Engage with community organisations, linking families to services, information and support
  • Contribute as valued member of a local Learning for Life Team, and collaborate with the broader organisation

About you

As well as passion for community, you will bring the following:

  • Demonstrated experience in using a strengths based, family centred approach
  • Demonstrated experience using data to support your work
  • Ability to work both collaboratively and autonomously
  • Demonstrated experience in relationship building
  • Current drivers licence and comprehensively insured vehicle
