The Smith Family is a national children’s education charity that works with children and young people to overcome educational inequality caused by poverty – so they can thrive now and into their futures.
Our Learning for Life program provides emotional, practical and financial support to help children and young people experiencing disadvantage with their education. Our support starts in the early years of learning development and continues through primary and high school.
As part of the Learning for Life team, the Remote Family Partnership Coordinator works within Western Australia to support geographically dispersed Learning for Life families, using referrals, links to programs and community relationships to support strong school attendance, achievement and post school pathways.

Please note: Whilst this role supports students and families, it’s important to note that such support is via a combination of phone and email communication with primary contacts. As this role is focused on supporting geographically dispersed families, it is unusual to be having face to face contact with Learning for Life students or families.
