We are seeking an experienced Payroll Coordinator to join our family. Reporting to the National Manager and working alongside dedicated, energised, and passionate team members, this role will be responsible for the smooth administration and processing of our outsourced payroll function.

About our role

You will be responsible for:

  • Carefully overseeing the input and integrity of data in the payroll system, ensuring timely and accurate processing
  • Checking weekly, fortnightly and monthly pre-pay reports, and calculations for accuracy including termination pays and out of cycle pays
  • Problem solving and resolving queries and requests from our team members
  • Proactively identifying opportunities to optimise administrative efficiency while ensuring adherance to organisational policies and procedures

About you

As well as passion for community, you will bring the following:

  • A strong understanding of payroll policies and procedures, including a successful track record working within an outsourced payroll environment (ideally with ADP)
  • Working knowledge of applicable Payroll legislation
  • A keen focus on accuracy, with strong report writing, analytical and numeracy skills
  • Exceptional proficiency in written and verbal communication, coupled with a steadfast commitment to upholding confidentiality
  • Ability to successfully build relationships and communicate effectively across geographically dispersed teams and external service providers
  • Highly developed proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly, MS Excel
