The Smith Family is a children’s education charity that helps young Australians experiencing disadvantage to create better futures for themselves through harnessing the power of education.

We are seeking a Saver Plus Coordinator to join our organisation. Reporting to the National Program Manager, Saver Plus and working alongside dedicated, energised, and passionate team members, this role will be responsible for the virtual delivery of the Saver Plus program. The Saver Plus Coordinator will be trained in all areas of program delivery, however this role will focus on the delivery of the financial education component of the program, MoneyMinded (referred to as a MoneyMinded Coach (MMC)).

About the role

You will be responsible for:

  • Engaging and inclusive facilitation of virtual MoneyMinded workshops to groups of participants (of 6 or more)
  • Maintain attendance records and ensure participation levels are achieved within specific timeframes
  • Managing multiple complex schedules to ensure the efficient delivery of virtual workshops
  • Regular monitoring of the Saver Plus database and the subsequent running of required reports
  • Communicating and collaborating with colleagues on a daily basis in a virtual setting
  • Attending regular team meetings, training and capacity-building opportunities.
  • Provide monthly reports to Program Manager

About you

As well as passion for community, you will bring the following:

  • Experience in planning and facilitating virtual workshops.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with a range of stakeholders.
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent administration skills including computer literacy including experience producing correspondence and report writing.
  • Experience with data entry and planning databases and platforms.
  • Demonstrating the ability to collaborate effectively, communicate openly, and contribute to a positive and inclusive team environment.
  • Experience working to achieve targets and KPIs.
