The headspace Adelaide Centre Manager operates under broad direction and plays a pivotal role in the overall leadership, management and integration of the Early Psychosis, Primary Platform and Complex Care services. The Centre Manager works to ensure that all three service streams operate in accordance with the headspace model of care and in alignment with business and strategic plans.
The incumbent will develop, implement and oversee operations and clinical service delivery, along with undertaking strategic planning to address the future growth and development of headspace Adelaide (complex care and primary platform) and headspace Adelaide Early Psychosis. This position is primarily responsible for ensuring the provision of high quality mental health services to young people, that required outputs are achieved, and that awareness of headspace services are consistently promoted in local communities.
Along with overseeing the headspace Adelaide Primary Care Platform, and Complex Care the role will also involves the effective service provision and operation of Early Psychosis. The Early Psychosis service will ensure provision of early intervention, responsive, and recovery focused care for young people aged 12 – 25 years who are at risk of or experiencing a first episode of psychosis as based on the EPPIC model of care.
The Manager will be a highly motivated and dynamic person, who can facilitate excellence in integrated holistic health care, with the goal of improving outcomes for clients of the service and the wider community. The incumbent will be adept in leading allied health multidisciplinary teams and managing a range of stakeholder relationships. The Manager will be an innovative and experienced professional with a considerable understanding of health service operations and delivery. This position will work closely and collaboratively with other members of headspace Services, National Office, members of the headspace Adelaide and headspace Early Psychosis consortia, Youth Reference Group members, and other key stakeholders. This position holds line management responsibility for the staff located at the headspace Adelaide centre.
