We are seeking a Group Facilitator to develop, coordinate and deliver group programs for people who are from refugee and migrant backgrounds and recently arrived in Australia. The group programs are aimed at empowering clients and communities to achieve social cohesion outcomes, economic and social inclusion, and to improve their well being, independence, and connection.

Spectrum’s group facilitators coordinate all aspects of group activities, including stakeholder engagement, program promotion, procurement of participants, program design, facilitation and evaluation and reporting. 

This is a Level 4 position under the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Award. It is a part time (4 days), 2 year fixed term role.

  • Strong communication skills
  • A passion for helping new arrivals in Australia succeed
  • A commitment to deliver high quality outcomes for clients
  • Confidence to engage with external stakeholders
  • Experience working with culturally diverse communities

Spectrum is a Child Safe employer. Employment is subject to a current employment Working with Children Check, National Police Check (and international police check if resided overseas for 12 months or longer in the past 10 years) and proof of the right to work in Australia.  Successful applicants will be required to provide evidence of COVID-19 vaccination or valid medical exemption prior to commencement.
