In the role you will:
- Conduct assessments and therapeutic evidence-based interventions for children with autism from 0 to 18 years old.
- Develop Individual Plans to support children in developing fine and gross motor skills. This includes anticipated goals, expected outcomes, specific interventions, duration & frequency of the interventions required.
- Supervise and mentor therapy assistant aides.
- Coupled with assisting the individual needs of each child, families will receive regular training and tools to achieve therapy goals in the home and community.
- Develop and lead group programs for parents and support staff when required.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
- Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy.
- AHPPRA or Occupational Therapy Australia Membership.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with families, educators and other professionals in the delivery of OT services- particularly with children on the Autism Spectrum.
- Ability to build rapport with clients and families.
