Speech Pathology Services was established in 1997 to provide a range of assessment and intervention services to infants and children from birth to 18 years. We provide experienced assessment and management of a wide range of feeding (eg. breast, bottle, solid feeding, and tube feeding transition issues) and communication difficulties such as speech difficulties, language delays/disorders, stuttering, voice, social interaction , literacy difficulties ( eg. spelling, reading and writing) and oromotor difficulties (eg. dribbling, low muscle tone, coordination issues). 
Our clinic provides services to infants and children with a range of communication and feeding issues from very mild issues (eg.developmental delay, lisp) to more complex disorders/conditions (eg. autism, congenital syndromes, cerebral palsy, cardiac conditions, craniofacial conditions eg. tongue tie, cleft palate) and we welcome families from culturally diverse communities.

about the role

You will be providing assessment and management of paediatric clients presenting with speech and language, voice, stuttering and literacy delays/disorders. It is essential you have a minimum of 2 years post graduate experience working with children and families, have a Bachelor of Applied Science ( Speech Pathology) qualification, a current NSW Working with Children check and current Speech Pathology Australia membership. Experience with augmentative and alternative communications (AAC) is desirable.

This is a great opportunity to consoliodate and broaden your clinical knowledge across a range of paediatric communication disorders. The clinic also provides feeding assessments and management. You will have a unique opportunity to work closely in the practice with Sarah Starr who is a published author and lecturer with extensive clinical experience in paediatric feeding disorders.
