Position Overview:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Inclusive School Sports Program Driver to support the delivery of our "Raising the Bar" program in Queensland schools. In this role, you will be instrumental in facilitating school visits, driving essential equipment, and creating an engaging atmosphere for participants, parents, and support workers. This is a casual role and shifts vary based on availability and school visits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Transport and unload wheelchairs and equipment for school visits.
• Drive Game Changers in Sporting Wheelies vehicles as needed.
• Report any issues or concerns during school visits to the Inclusive School Sports Program Coordinator.
• Ensure all equipment is safe and operational through regular checks.
• Foster a positive environment for all participants.
• Promote Sporting Wheelies and Spinal Life Australia’s Health and Fitness Centre services.

What You Need to Succeed:

• Current Open Driver’s License needed
• Eligible for Paid NDIS Workers Screening Check and Blue Card (Working with Children Check QLD).
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage priorities.
• Strong initiative and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities (desirable).
• Previous experience driving a large van is preferred.
