Your Mission as a Coordinator

As the Coordinator Waste Operations for FOGO (Food Organics & Garden Organics) and the Community Recycling Centre (CRC), you will be at the forefront of implementing our new waste service initiatives. Your leadership will ensure that delivery and operations run smoothly, safely, and in compliance with all relevant legislation, including the Heavy Vehicle National Legislation (HVNL) and the Work Health & Safety Act 2011.

By managing logistics, resources, and your dedicated team, you will implement process improvements and operational changes that enhance our service delivery, contributing to a cleaner, safer, and more sustainable community.

Your Ideal Candidate Profile

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced leader who is passionate about waste management and community service. If you are eager to inspire others, this role is for you!

  • Diploma in Logistics, Business, or Project Management, or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven leadership experience in local government or a similar organisation.
  • Strong understanding of WHS and HVNL Legislation and incident management.
  • A customer-centric mindset with the ability to engage effectively with all stakeholders.
  • Financial acumen and the capability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.

  • Package: From $104,345 gross p.a. plus 11.5% superannuation.
  • Hours of work: Temporary full time (3 years) 35 hours per week with the option of a 19 day month
