As a providers of Disability Employment Services, SSI works to support people with disability as well as providing assistance to employers to put in place practices that support the employee in the workplace.
The focus of this role is to assess documentary evidence and lodge outcomes claims, EAF claims and other employment support claims for DES program and/or other programs within Employment and Social Enterprises Services in line with relevant contractual regulations, policies, procedures and guidelines.
Your duties will include:
You will have minimum 2 years working with job placement outcome claims in JobActive/DES along with tertiary qualifications in disability, social science, human resources or community service. Contract knowledge and experience working in employment services or disability sector would be highly regarded. A valid driver's license and car is a prerequisite for this role. You will have Customer Service Orientation coupled with exceptional communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills and the ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with all people. The ability to take imitative and a keen eye for continuous improvement will see you succeed in this role. You will thrive as part of a team working collaboratively to achieve results.
