Joining our Case Assessment Clinical Team (CACT) in QLD, you will be part of a specialist multidisciplinary team supporting participants who have been recently released from Immigration Detention to re-integrate into communities, equipped with the skills and support to manage their psychosocial and health needs, and gain sustainable employment and accommodation.
As a Clinical/Forensic Psychologist you will be engaging, assessing, and providing holistic culturally responsive treatment and/or external referrals to participants of our Status Resolution Support Service (SRSS) who present with a range of complexities including mental health, alcohol and drug problems, offending and complex trauma as well as complexities regarding there visa situations. The role is also responsible for providing guidance to SSI’S SRSS staff in the development of effective case management strategies including referral to external services.

As a compassionate and seasoned Clinical Psychologist with experience working with forensic cases, you will be familiar with the law and have the objectivity to work with clients with diverse clinical concerns.
Exceptional critical thinking and communication skills are a must to navigate complex clinical cases along with the tools to manage crises with key conflict resolution techniques.
