This is a fantastic rewarding opportunity to join our Quality Risk and Compliance team to support SSI Group’s audit, quality, risk and compliance activities. Reporting to the Head of Quality, Risk and Compliance, this is a newly created permanent position where you will be coordinating the internal financial audit function to support good governance and optimise SSI’s operational performance, planning, management and decision-making.
As a key member of the team, your role will be to provide independent and objective assessment of key business processes, evaluating the effectiveness of financial controls, risk management systems and operational processes.
The successful incumbent will have a strong background in Auditing (external or internal) as well as sound financial knowledge. This role would suit an individual with a curious mind, someone who is adaptable to the ever-changing complex environment of an NFP organisation. Experience in conducting internal audits, preferably in a community sector or not for profit setting is highly advantageous.
