In this critical, high impact role, you will co-ordinate research initiatives which build the evidence base for SSI's strategic priorities and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to enhance the dissemination and translation of research to policy and practice.
You will be a part of a small, specialised team to progress research priorities often working in partnership with external researchers and/or SSI program areas. The role is also critical to SSI-led research including the annual Foundations for Belonging research and co-ordinates other research initiatives from one-off research requests through to major multi-year research projects with external researchers in Australian Research Council partnerships
We are looking for someone with relevant experience and a strong track record in carrying out research in human services including analysis and synthesis of quantitative and qualitative data.
You will be involved in collating and analysing data, including publicly available datasets, with a particular focus on multicultural and other communities experiencing vulnerability and disadvantage and contribute to the development of reports and briefs.
Your attention to detail, solutions focus, analytical skills and the ability to engage and work with diverse stakeholders to achieve outcomes will be strong. Your passion will lie in wanting to work for purpose and uncover critical insights that can make a difference to communities.
