About you

Your qualifications or relevant industry experience in Fundraising, Marketing or Digital communications would be highly valued in addition to the following skills and strengths;

  • Curious, proactive and bursting with innovation
  • Natural collaborator and problem solver with a Test and learn mindset
  • Understand digital best practice with a solid foundation across a number of disciplines (search, social, email etc)
  • Experience developing and implementing digital fundraising/marketing strategy and technology/channels to support growth objectives
  • Excellent analytic skills and a demonstrated ability in extract actionable insights to drive results
  • Proven project management skills delivering complex campaigns/projects on time and on budget
  • Comprehensive understanding of digital ad tracking i.e. Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Facebook Pixels etc
  • Highly self-sufficient and self-motivated and able to work autonomously without constant direction

About the role

A mix of developing digital strategy and creating digital transformation the purpose of this exciting role is to transform the Individual Giving team’s digital activities across the supporter lifecycle to enhance the supporter experience which in turn grows income and maximises ROI.

In addition to providing tactical digital expertise the Digital Marketing lead also collaborates with internal teams to accelerate the Individual Giving Team’s digital transformation creating a harmonious digital ecosystem which supports the team’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities include;

  • Drive the Individual Giving digital roadmap and manage prioritisation.
  • Understand key Individual Giving audiences and supporter lifecycle
  • Lead briefing of all digital activity – internal and/or external providers.
  • Work collaboratively with the digital marketing team in optimising the individual giving supporter experience based on data-driven insights
  • Lead tactical implementation of specific digital marketing fundraising campaigns including but not limited to Starlight Day and regular giving digital acquisition.
  • Develop strategic understanding of Microsoft Dynamics Marketing to ensure individual giving team activities are leveraging this platform optimally.
  • Identification and recommendation of new digital opportunities to drive efficiency, income or supporter engagement.
