An exciting opportunity is now available for an experienced Service Delivery Manager to join the Disability Employment Services (DES) team on the Sunshine Coast.
The Position:
This role is responsible for the performance and compliance of the DES contract, including but not limited to supporting and training the DES Job Coaches throughout the Sunshine Coast region including Gympie. Ensuring DES staff are highly trained in performance and delivery of contract obligations. Creating the environment to achieve individual best performance and participant service expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Working with the General Manager of DES, this role will manage the overall performance of the DES Contract on the Sunshine Coast by providing training and support to DES staff.
- Monitor and report on approved KPI performance measures reporting weekly to the General Manager on the impact and achievement of the DES business plans.
- Gain and maintain detailed up to date knowledge of the DES contract and DES Guidelines, and STEPS DES contract taking responsibility for ensuring DES staff comply with all requirements of the contract.
- Identify and escalate potential risks and barriers to program delivery and performance, along with potential solutions.
- Regularly review staff performance against personal and contractual compliance and performance KPIs and lead a continuous improvement process utilising effective communication ensuring processes and activities are delivering agreed and expected outcomes.
- Report weekly on DES performance and compliance, contributing to the preparation of information for Board reports.
The successful applicant:
- Demonstrated detailed knowledge of the DES Contract.
- Previous experience with leadership support through performance coaching in a medium to large size organisation, preferably with multi-site and geographically dispersed operations highly regarded, tertiary qualifications in Business, or relative experience.
- Proven ability to contribute to operational planning activities that can guide the daily operations and resources to maximise utilisation and achieve business outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to implement strategies and manage employees to deliver high quality, compliant DES Services to achieve and sustain high performance.
- Demonstrated continuous improvement ability within DES to prioritise tasks and respond to multiple requests while achieving agreed outcomes within timeframes.
- A leadership and management style that can achieve a shared understanding of goals, strong relationships and accountability.
- Hold a current Driver Licence, Working with Children Card (Blue Card), and have the ability to obtain a National Police Clearance.
