St Joseph’s Family Services (SJFS) is a part of St Agnes’ Catholic Parish, a Catholic community located in beautiful Port Macquarie on the mid-north coast of NSW, Australia. Since the first St Agnes’ Catholic Church was built in 1878, the Parish has played an essential role in caring for, guiding and growing, the local community. 

As a part of the Parish, SJFS receives wonderful support and resources from the wider Parish business structures, which adds to our enjoyable and supportive work environments. 

ABOUT THE ROLE

We have fantastic leadership opportunities for Qualified Early Childhood Teachers within our existing teams at all three of our centres. These roles will feel rewarding as the contribution you bring to our collaborative team will help our organisation to continue to create stimulating, positive and inclusive learning environments for the children in our care and support the continued growth of our teams. 

When you work at SJFS, you work as part of a passionate team of educators working in partnership, providing high quality care and education together with the Service Manager, staff team, families and the broader community of St Joseph’s Family Services (SJFS).

WHO YOU ARE

  • Qualifications in Early Childhood (Bachelor or Degree).
  • You are committed to work in harmony with Catholic Values and Principles.
  • NSW Working with Children Check clearance or the ability to obtain.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop effective working relationships with staff and families.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Intermediate computer skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to providing quality early education and care.
  • Be prepared to work between 7.10am – 5:40pm.
