Your Role

As an Accommodation Support Worker, you'll be a guiding presence for clients as they navigate a critical time in their lives. You’ll create a safe and welcoming environment while working alongside our Case Work team to provide tailored support and advocacy. Every shift is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact and contribute to real change.

Your Responsibility

• Welcome & Support – Help new clients settle in with empathy and care
• Ensure Safety & Well-being – Maintain a secure and respectful space
• Work as a Team – Support Case Workers in delivering personalised assistance
• Advocate for Clients – Connect them with services and resources
• Assist with Daily Living – Serve meals, supervise activities, and provide transport when needed
• Keep Records Up to Date – Maintain case notes and daily communication logs

You Will Need

• A genuine passion for working with people experiencing homelessness
• Availability for a rotating roster, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings
• Relevant qualifications (Certificate IV or working towards) or equivalent experience
• An understanding of Child Protection principles and ROSH procedures
• Strong decision-making skills in crisis and emergency situations
• A current First Aid Certificate
• Experience in accommodation, homelessness services, or hospitality
• Confidence in using Microsoft Office and client databases
• A current NSW Driver Licence
