Your Role

The position involves delivering high-quality resident care based on individual needs assessments and ongoing monitoring, in collaboration with a dedicated care team. You will be joining a passionate, close-knit group that values inclusivity, teamwork, and continuous professional development.

Your Responsibility

  • Provide residential care as per individual care plans.
  • Deliver quality care in line with accreditation standards.
  • Administer medication and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Communicate professionally with CSE IV, residents' families, and staff.
  • Contribute to care assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation with registered nurses.
  • Assist with food services, including preparation, distribution, and dishwashing.
  • Ensure residents receive adequate nutrition and fluids, monitoring intake.
  • Monitor residents for changes in condition and report incidents.
  • Collaborate with registered nurses on care delivery and safety concerns.
  • Use safety equipment and personal protective gear as directed.
  • Perform other duties as required by senior staff. 

You Will Need:

  • Minimum Certificate III in Aged Care
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders and residents from a range of backgrounds and experiences.
  • Ability to treat residents, including those with a range of high-level needs, with dignity and respect and remain sensitive to resident needs, and the capacity to build report with residents of the service.
  • Ability to work as member of a team.
  • Demonstrated capacity to observe, identify and assess risks to safety and security from a range of sources, and to take appropriate responsive action.
  • Understanding and ensuring compliance at all time with Aged Care Accreditation Standards.
  • Willingness to undertake further professional development to assist in service delivery to residents.
  • Certificate of completion for The NDIS Worker Orientation Module – Quality, Safety & You or willingness to obtain Certificate of completion.
  • Satisfactory completion of safety screening including a National Police check, International Police check a current NSW Working with Children Check (Employee), and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
