Your Role

Looking to fill a warehouse management position at a Vinnies Return and Earn warehouse in Penrith 2750.  Reporting to the CDS Area Manager, this permanent full-time role is responsible for leading the overall operations at the site, and a team of warehouse assistants/ production hands. You will have well-rounded knowledge and experience relevant to the role and proven people leadership skills.

Your Responsibility

  • Supervise, coach, train, motivate team members and ensure their maximum productivity
  • Assign, plan and delegate workflow activities of the warehouse, including staffing requirements
  • Ensure WHS procedures are followed at all times by workers and visitors
  • Monitor, coordinate bulk bin collections and safe truck movement on site by service partner
  • Coordinate repairs, cleaning and maintenance of warehouse equipment
  • Schedule and coordinate disposal of waste items as appropriate
  • Provide relevant reports and work closely with management matter as needed.

You Will Need

  • Demonstrated experience as Warehouse supervisor; proven leadership skills
  • Experience in negotiation, conflict management skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Demonstrated understanding of WHS and effective implementation of safety procedures
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and Point of Sale (POS) systems.
  • Current Driver Licence and Forklift Licence.
