Sunshine Speech & Allied Health is a vibrant, client-centred allied health clinic offering high-quality Speech Pathology and Occupational Therapy services to children and adults. We are interviewing Early Career & New Graduate Speech Pathologists who are passionate about supporting people with disabilities to join our small and highly experienced Speech team. 

We can support flexible working arrangements, offering part-time and full-time positions AND can help you apply for a relocation grant through the Rural Doctors Network.

Launched in 2024, our team of 6 professionals (Speech Pathologists, an Occupational Therapist, and support staff) has been dedicated to providing holistic care in a collaborative environment.

The role (WHO we are looking for)

We’re seeking a motivated Speech Pathologist for our team. Whether you're an experienced professional or a new graduate, we’ll tailor the role to suit your strengths and interests. We’d love someone who understands the power of multidisciplinary care approaches and has a passion for innovative and holistic service delivery. We do need you to have some essential qualifications and personal attributes: 

  • Relevant qualification in Speech Pathology (Bachelor degree)
  • Eligibility for Speech Pathology Australia membership.
  • Commitment to evidence-based and client-centered care.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Be authorised to work in Australia.

Key Responsibilities (HOW we support our clients and families)

  • Provide evidence-based speech pathology services to a diverse caseload.
  • Develop and implement individual therapy plans to support client goals.
  • Conduct assessments and write high-quality reports.
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team (Speech Pathology and Occupational Therapy) to provide holistic care.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
