Who are we?

SuperPharmacyPlus is a well-established community pharmacy with an emphasis on customer service, unique products and professional services. Operating in North Brisbane for over 40 years, we now dispatch products all over Australia and around the world. We work closely with a number of community organizations and help people to easily access equipment through a variety of funding sources such as the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), Home Care Packages, Department of Veterans Affairs, Workcover as well as private sales.

You will, with the support of your team:

  • Contribute to the rapidly growing mobility team in our busy independent community pharmacy.
  • Facilitate access of NDIS clients to appropriate products in a streamlined fashion. Manage the immediate and the ongoing needs and orders of NDIS clients
  • Support and liaise with health care organisations to access NDIS funding in a timely manner.
  • Develop efficient administration, billing and invoicing practices particularly around the NDIS and aged care Home Care Packages.
  • Support management staff in administrative duties

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Communicate clearly and professionally with organisations and associates of SPP through use of the customer service systems.
  • Generate quotes and invoices for clients and organisations
  • Input invoices of products received.
  • Independently use various computer systems, POS, spreadsheets, inventory and accounting platforms
  • Manage monthly orders for NDIS and HCP clients, responding to their individual needs.

Skills and Experience

Essential

  • A proactive attitude and passion for achieving better outcomes for people with disability in the health system.
  • Ability to manage the complexity of ordering systems in the pharmacy and client’s ongoing monthly orders.
  • Excellent communication skills particularly phone manner and email courtesy.
  • Confidence in using Microsoft Office products, and information sharing platforms.
  • Evidence of ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Ability to prioritise efficiently according to organisational needs.

Preferred

  • Experience working directly with people with disability who have complex and high support needs.
  • A working knowledge of the NDIS, its framework, structure and practice problem-solving skills, including a dedicated and pro-active approach to individual problems.
  • Previous administrative experience

Position:

Health Administrative Assistant / NDIS Coordinator

Permanent Part-time; 5 days a week (25-30+ hours weekly) located in Stafford, QLD.
