For lots of people we support, the holiday season can be challenging, so we are looking for experienced mental health workers who are available for this coming holiday season. These positions will continue beyond the holiday season.

Our mental health support workers provide one-on-one support to people, increasing their capacity to thrive in the community.

We are a mental health service provider who works within a person-centred, recovery-oriented framework. We are passionate about providing meaningful support to people with psychosocial disabilities.

We provide mental health support work, psychosocial recovery coaching, and counselling services. Our services are in-home, in community and one-on-one.

We are looking for empathetic and passionate people to join our vibrant team of mental health workers.

We are located in Melbourne and we are looking for people who can provide services to Bayside, Inner South East, South East, Eastern, North, Inner City and Inner West areas.

QUALIFICATIONS AND CERTIFICATION

The successful applicants will possess the following:

  • Studying Certificate IV in Mental Health, or equivalent.
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check (or willing to obtain)
  • Working with Children's Check (or willing to obtain)
  • Driver's license, clean and reliable vehicle, and comprehensive insurance
  • First Aid and CPR certification (or willing to obtain)

ATTRIBUTES AND ATTITUDES

  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn and develop professionally.
  • Available for a minimum of 25 hours work per week, including for 3 weekdays per week
  • Willing to travel up to 45km for a 3 hour minimum shift.
  • Maintain a holistic view to recovery.
  • Work within a person-centred approach.
  • Thrive on helping people to live their best life!
