- Admitted to practice law in Western Australia and hold a current practicing certificate.
- 2 + years post-admission experience.
- Experience in Court work.
- Experience with the Restraining Orders Act, or willingness to learn.
- Highly developed computer skills, including proficiency with the MS Office suite.
- Excellent communication skills, particularly written English.
- Reliable and uses personal judgment to promote self-sufficiency in an otherwise supported working environment.
Desirable
- Knowledge of and/or experience in working in the community legal services sector.
- Demonstrated ability to work with people from diverse cultural, language, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
- Experience in shuttle conferencing or ADR
- Exceptional interpersonal skills.
- The ability to fit into a small team with ease.
