About the Role

We are looking for a Chief Operating Officer (part-time) to lead and manage the operations of the organisation, ensuring smooth execution of the vision set by the leadership team. This role requires a highly organised and results-driven individual who thrives in a dynamic environment. The COO will be responsible for managing the leadership team, driving accountability, and ensuring that all operational functions are aligned with the company's goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the leadership team, ensuring alignment with company objectives and driving accountability across departments.
  • Implement, refine, and manage business processes and systems to ensure efficiency and scalability.
  • Lead the development and implementation of key performance indicators (KPIs) and the Scorecard to track progress across the organisation.
  • Collaborate with the (CEO) to turn the company’s long-term strategy into actionable operational plans.
  • Solve major issues and remove obstacles that may hinder progress toward the company’s goals.
  • Identify, pursue, and manage grant opportunities to secure funding that supports the company’s initiatives and growth objectives.

Experience & Skillset:

  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Proven experience in driving accountability, managing teams, and achieving operational goals.
  • A deep understanding of business processes, systems, and financial management.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and ensure efficient allocation of resources.
  • Familiarity with the EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) framework or other business operating systems is a plus.
