About St Vincent de Paul Society

For more than 170 years we have been providing practical and compassionate support to people across Victoria whose daily struggles can include putting food on the table, paying essential utilities and ensuring their children remain at school to obtain an education.

Under our Good Works umbrella we have many services and programs, including soup vans, education programs, home visitation programs and VincentCare Victoria (VCV), which assists some of Victoria’s most vulnerable communities, such as people experiencing homelessness, the housing crisis and family violence, and the elderly.

About the Role:

The role will lead the Finance Transformation roadmap and delivery of the projects to increase efficiency, automation and integrity of key finance processes. This will include review of current processes and reporting infrastructure to design an efficient and automated future state process, with effective engagement with other leaders in Finance and across the Group to coordinate process improvement activities.

About you:

In addition, you’re skilled in leading data migration activities, including data mapping, cleansing and execution. You bring a structured and people-focused approach to change management, leading impact assessments, deployment strategies, communications, training and seamless handovers to BAU operations.

  • Ability to match business requirements with system capabilities/ functionality and implement solutions to achieve desired outcomes and process improvements.
  • Ability to work effectively with and lead through change, a diversity of people from corporate project teams to internal clients who may be less experienced with business processes and technology.
  • Analytical in assessment of information to reach clear supported conclusions and recommendations.
  • Highly developed report writing skills, including the ability to prepare succinct management reports that will assist management decision-making processes.
