St. Vincent's is a leading teaching, research and tertiary health service which employs over 5,000 staff across 18 sites throughout Melbourne. St. Vincent's provides a diverse range of adult clinical services including acute medical and surgical services, sub-acute care, medical diagnostics, rehabilitation, allied health, mental health, palliative care, correctional health and community residential care.
St Vincent's Medical Imaging is a fully integrated imaging department including Nuclear Medicine/PET-CT and provides Plain Radiology, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Mammography and Interventional Radiology.
There are 11 full time staff specialists including three Nuclear Medicine specialists and the Department offers also fellowships in MRI and Interventional Radiology.
The Department is RACP/RANZCR accredited for advanced training in Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT. All aspects of diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine are performed with an emphasis on integration with structural and cross sectional imaging. The Department has four SPECT/CT cameras including Siemens 16 slice SPECT/CT's installed in 2011, 2016 and 2018. A state of the art PET/CT centre opened in December 2015.
This post commences Monday 1st February 2021, and there will be a compulsory Orientation program on this day for all staff new to the Hospital.
