About the Role

The mental health team is responsible for implementing primary mental health care reform activities, across the region, including commissioning of services.

This role is key in the planning, procurement, monitoring and evaluation and integration of services within the following mental health portfolio areas:

• Psychological Therapies for Under-serviced Groups
• Regional Suicide Prevention

Please apply if you have a passion for improving mental health outcomes and possess the following attributes:  

• Experience in the mental health sector with relevant tertiary qualifications (e.g. health or mental health - a clinical qualification is desirable, but not a requirement)
• High level communication and interpersonal skills
• High level organisation and time management skills
• Demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement

For applicants with a clinical qualification, the role will also provide indirect clinical oversight, which includes:

• Supervisory support of the SWSPHN mental health central intake team
• Oversight of the Client Information Management System
• Review and implementation of the SWSPHN Mental Health Clinical Governance Framework
