You may be a university student studying social sciences, medicine or nursing and are seeking casual employment to enhance your skill set.

Perhaps you are ready for a change from aged care or an experienced Support Worker seeking a change?

Shifts are varied and flexible – 4-8 hour shifts between 6am-10pm and overnight shifts.

You could earn between $30.46 and $39.26 per hour, depending on your employment status, as a base rate.  Shift penalties also apply!

About The Role

Sylvanvale provides services 7 days per week which includes morning, afternoon, evening, and overnight shifts.

This role would suit someone who has the tenacity and confidence in working with people with complex support needs and, at times, behaviours of concern. You will be required to appropriately support clients with opportunities to reach their individual goals through meaningful activities in their home and in the community.

Types of duties may include:

  • Supporting customers with personal care, health issues and hygiene
  • Performing household tasks including menu planning, cooking, and cleaning
  • Supporting customers to access and be a part of their local community

Successful applicants will require a full COVID-19 vaccination and booster. An offer will be subject to a police clearance, a pre-employment medical and a NDIS Worker Screening Check.
